Starting in 2013 I became the Media Coordinator for a local anime/video game convention. I controlled a very small team of volunteers and had my hand in every aspect of media for the convention, in most cases I was the sole designer. Everything from flyers to social networking management to short videos; in short our branding and identity for that year.
The general artwork was commissioned by artist Doug Smith while the designs were from me and my team.
This was my first year at the helm and while I very narrowly avoided complete disaster a numbers of times the end result was still a success. I came out learning much more especially on the importance of organization when dealing with a major project.
